About the Role
As a Software Development Intern at Staccato, you’ll contribute to the creation and improvement of the company’s AI-powered music platform. Working closely with the technical team, you’ll assist in developing features, improving user interfaces, and helping optimize performance for real-time music applications. This role is ideal for a student or early-career developer passionate about AI, creativity, and music technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team in developing and testing core platform features.
- Contribute to front-end and back-end codebases using Staccato’s core languages.
- Assist with debugging, documentation, and feature prototyping.
- Participate in collaborative sprint reviews and product discussions.
- Learn and apply best practices in version control, testing, and deployment.
What We’re Looking For
Staccato values technical fluency, curiosity, and collaboration. The ideal intern is pursuing or has experience in computer science or a related field and is proficient in Staccato’s main languages — React, TypeScript, and Node.js. You should be eager to learn from feedback, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to a small, fast-moving team focused on AI and music innovation.
Bonus Skills
- Interest in music production, sound design, or audio software.
- Familiarity with APIs or AI/ML concepts.
- Experience working with collaborative coding environments (Git, GitHub).
